Texas Next is the second division of the MLS Next league, with GFI as one of the founders in collaboration with the MLS NEXT and other clubs. This is an innovative league that prioritizes competitive excellence while also providing an opportunity for high-performing athletes to participate in their local high schools. We are thrilled to be part of this exciting new venture, where we have actively curated exceptional clubs from across our region. Texas Next teams train alongside our MLS Next teams so that they are constantly challenged and provided opportunities for advancement into the MLS Next team based on the individual development of each player.

Texas Next 2 players train three days a week with 1-2 games per week and 2-3
tournaments throughout the year. 

We currently have two teams in each age level competing in the Texas Next 2 with one team training at our Spring Branch location and the other team training at our Lenze Road location in The Woodlands.  We are looking to expand this to our Sugar Land branch as well. Training for TX Next 2League begins in August and ends in June. 

Training and league fees are $2575 per year and uniform packages are $330 (beginning of 2023 season through end of 2025 season).
